I am passionate about good design, in that it not only serves a function but that it serves the community and protects the environment. I believe as a designer I have a responsibility to the generations of people that will inherit the building, the land and the city, that it becomes a positive contribution for the foreseeable future and beyond.

Michael Pawlyn: Using Nature's Genius in Architecture

Biomimicry is a way forward for design, for humanity. Taking lessons from nature and applying them to our needs.
We are only on the cusp of discovering what is possible, but first we have to believe it is possible. Just because we can't conceive it doesn't mean a solution doesn't exist.
